Fitness

The Briar Club boasts an 18,000 square-foot Fitness Center adjoining a newly-expanded 4,000 square-foot Wellness Center. The Fitness Center features state-of-the-art cardiovascular and strength training equipment, pilates and yoga studios, comprehensive group exercise programs, and certified personal trainers to customize your workout program with instruction in all facets of fitness.

For our younger Members, we offer a Youth Wellness Certification program that allows teens to become acquainted with fitness and gym etiquette at a key developmental age. This way, parents and teens have the option to work out together.

Our luxurious locker rooms in both our Fitness and Wellness Centers feature lockers and sundries for men and women, as well as steam rooms, whirlpool spas, and a shoe shine room for men in the Fitness Center.

 
  • Group Exercise
    • The Briar Club's Group Ex program is a fun, varied and convenient way to exercise in your favorite way for one low monthly fee. For a low monthly fee, Members gain access to an unlimited amount of classes per month from our packed schedule. Whether you come once or 100 times a month, the rate stays the same! Our Group Ex schedule covers a variety of fitness disciplines and popular classes, from Cycle and Barre classes to Yoga, Cardio, Weight Training, Mat Pilates and Reformer.

  • Pilates
    • Pilates is an excellent way to strengthen your core, tone your body and enhance your fitness routine. The Briar Club features eight Pilates Reformer chairs, top-of-the-line Pilates accessories and equipment, and a dedicated Pilates Studio for private, semi-private and group lessons. The Briar Club offers a wide range of both mat, barre and Reformer Pilates classes for all levels. Our dedicated team of Pilates instructors are on-hand to introduce you to Pilates and help you achieve your goals.

  • Personal Training
    • Ready to make a change in your health and wellness? The Briar Club has fully-certified personal trainers on-hand to help you assess and meet your fitness goals! From focuses on sports-specific training and conditioning to fascial stretch therapy, weight management and injury prevention/rehabilitation, our Trainers are knowledgeable and ready to assist you. Our Fitness Department will meet with you to assess your goals and pair you with a Personal Trainer that is best suited to help you along your fitness journey. We strive to form strong, positive relationships between our Members and our Trainers, and take great pride in being a part of your achievements.


  • Physical Therapy
    • The Briar Club offers physical therapy, massage therapy, and fascial stretch therapy to all Members with a dedicated Physical Therapy Room on the second floor of the Fitness Center. Our licensed physical therapists and massage therapists are available to work with you to determine a wellness plan, whether you are recovering from an injury, training hard in the gym, or simply in need of relaxation time.

  • Locker Rooms
    • For our Members' convenience, The Briar Club has Mens and Ladies Locker Rooms in both the Fitness and Wellness Centers. Comfortably outfitted with showers, complimentary toiletries, changing areas, and including steam rooms/spas in the Fitness Center, the Locker Rooms are your space to relax after your workout, as part of a rehabilitation routine, or simply to enjoy yourself after a long day. Complimentary snack mix and flavored spa water, as well as fresh towels, are provided for your enjoyment.

      Lockers are also available for yearly rental in both the Fitness and Wellness Center locker rooms. We also provide affordable day-lockers for Members and Guests.
